Pmb1226 If he said that the filename probably was ghost.mp4 or ghost.avi or something like that.

Pmb1226 The title card was basically just a black screen with a title in the center. I think the font may have been similar to Times New Roman.

xyz I asked some relatives also about the video. The only thing they could tell me is that back then they used to send each other emails with these kinds of videos as a joke. This immediately made me think that maybe my father might have some mail with that video. But I think he lost access to the account he was using back then a long time ago.

Because of different aspects i don't believe that his dad was the creator of the video, you'd need an editing software to add that black screen with the word "Ghost", did your dad have a computer back then?

xyz I highly doubt his dad still has it. First, he said he got rid of the phone long ago. Then he said he lost his email account, which then was most likely either hotmail or yahoo. Best hope is finding the video online...

Unless maybe one your relatives or dad's friends made it and shared it.

Still, due to the age of the video, and the storage limits at the time, I'm almost certain that if he received such an email, it no longer exists by now.

I think he used Yahoo. According to this article, Yahoo didn't expand their storage limit until 2007.
