As of September 2025, catbox.moe (including litterbox) has been excluded from the Wayback Machine for seemingly no reason. This has resulted in 99% of the permalinks here becoming broken and now defunct. Without a permalink, videos on the wiki are more at risk of becoming lost media.
Despite contacting the Internet Archive about this issue 2 weeks ago, their administrators (being the sack of shit they are) have not responded or even acknowledged this issue in the slightest.
With that being said, we need your help. To anyone who is online or actively contributing on our wiki, you can help by:
- Searching for any pages that have permalinks from files.catbox.moe or litter.catbox.moe. (Protip: You can also filter pages by certain categories by adding
[[Category:Name]] next to your search).
- Download the video (any downloader is fine, as long as it downloads the video in the max resolution possible).
- Upload the video to (most preferably) qu.ax or any similar/alternative host. (Make sure "Permanent" is selected under File Storage Duration in settings)
- Paste the link into the Wayback Machine Save Page Now tool, and then replace the old Catbox permalink with the new one you just created.
A new file host for the wiki could be implemented in the future, but that is less likely to happen as of now.
